These terms govern the provision of diagnostics, reporting and advisory services by Offermomentum in New Zealand. By booking or using our services you agree to these terms.

  • Estimates and times are indicative; additional work or diagnostics may require separate agreement.
  • We retain ownership of diagnostic reports until payment is cleared where applicable.

Consumer rights (New Zealand)

Offermomentum operates under New Zealand consumer protection regimes including the Consumer Guarantees Act 1993 and the Fair Trading Act 1986 where they apply.

Your entitlements

  1. Services must be carried out with reasonable care and skill.

Liability & Disclaimers

To the fullest extent permitted by law:

  • Offermomentum's liability for loss or damage arising from services is limited to direct loss and capped at NZD 5,000 or the invoice amount, whichever is greater, unless otherwise agreed in writing.
  • We are not liable for consequential losses, indirect loss, loss of profits or loss of use of the vehicle except where mandatory law provides otherwise.
  • Recommendations provided in reports are advisory; repair decisions remain with the vehicle owner.

Dispute resolution & Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of New Zealand. If a dispute arises we request contact so we may attempt informal resolution.

If unresolved we will consider mediation. Parties may agree to an independent mediator in New Zealand.

If necessary, disputes may be referred to the New Zealand courts. Any legal action must be brought in New Zealand and in the English language.

Complaints & External agencies

If you consider your rights under NZ consumer law have been breached you may contact the Commerce Commission or Citizens Advice Bureau for guidance. Complaints about vehicle safety can also be raised with Waka Kotahi where relevant.
